SKAGIT – an experimental feature film
Skagit is an avant-garde horror film set in the Skagit Valley in Northwest Washington State, written and directed by Nick Thompson. It is his newest project, a low-budget, DIY movie shooting locally in November 2018.
Four old friends from Seattle head to the Skagit Valley for a weekend vacation but end up trying to kill each other and themselves. They slowly lose their minds and drift into their own personal realities, all with a common thread leading back to the dark pull of the valley. Their world becomes an irrational, nightmarish poem, open-ended beyond the visual and sonic landscape of the film...
